Job summary

Fuse Engineering is seeking an experienced Hardware/Software Engineer in Fort Meade, Maryland, to specialize in digital hardware design and FPGA development. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in FPGAs, hardware description languages, and simulation tools.

Responsibilities include designing digital hardware solutions, developing HDL code, and collaborating with teams to integrate software components. A Top Secret SCI w/ Polygraph Clearance is required for this position.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in FPGA development.
• Proficiency in VHDL and/or Verilog HDL.
• Strong experience using ModelSim and Xilinx development tools.
• Solid understanding of digital logic design principles.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and test digital hardware solutions using FPGAs.
• Develop and simulate HDL code (VHDL or Verilog) using ModelSim or equivalent tools.
• Utilize Xilinx design tools for synthesis, implementation, and debugging.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to integrate hardware and software components.
• Perform verification and validation of hardware designs.
