Job summary

RTX seeks qualified FPGA/ASIC Electrical Engineers for real-time embedded systems and multi-domain architectures. You will work on real-time control, DCLT algorithms, and experimental testbeds, leveraging C/C++, HDL, and scripting in a collaborative project team.

The role requires a DoD Secret clearance, US citizenship, and onsite work at the Cambridge, MA location. Eligible candidates will engage with advanced research and hardware development in a secure environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related STEM major obtained by start date.
• Experience in embedded code and digital logic development processes such as logic design, verification, timing analysis, board bring up, and validation.
• Experience with high-speed interfaces (Ethernet, SPI, I2C, sFPDP, PCIe).
• Scripting development experience (bash, Tcl).

Responsibilities

• Develop real-time control system architectures for physical systems.
• Develop detection, classification, localization, and tracking algorithms for noisy environments.
• Support development and testing of experimental testbeds for real-time sensor processing systems and quantum information/photonics projects.
• Assist in implementing and evaluating real-time systems in real-world contexts and perform performance analyses.
