Job summary

RTX Cambridge, a leader in aerospace and defense, seeks an FPGA/ASIC Engineer I to design real-time embedded systems, develop control architectures, and prototype multi-domain hardware.

You will work onsite at Cambridge, MA, with DoD clearance requirements after day 1. The salary range is 57,200 USD to 108,800 USD, with relocation eligibility and comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, and retirement plans.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related STEM field is required.
• Embedded code and digital logic development including design, verification, timing, board bring-up, and validation is expected.
• Experience with high-speed interfaces (Ethernet, SPI/I2C, sFPDP, PCIe) and scripting is required.

Responsibilities

• Develop real-time control system architectures for physical systems.
• Create DCLT algorithms for novel signal sources in high-noise environments.
• Support testing of experimental testbeds for real-time sensor processing and related research.
