Job summary

RTX in Goleta, CA is hiring a Production Worker S4 (Production Specialist) for the FPA area. This onsite role involves operating equipment, following procedures, and documenting data in travelers and electronic databases.

The position requires a high school diploma or GED and at least four years of production experience in cleanroom fabrication or related fields. US citizenship is required.

2nd shift from 2pm to 10:30pm, flexibility for overtime, and comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 4 years of production experience in cleanroom fabrication, assembly, manufacturing or equivalent.
• Experience in MS Office (Excel).
• US Citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.

Responsibilities

• Active participation in a Safety-First work environment.
• Work in a class 100 cleanroom in a bunny suit under yellow lights.
• Use strong interpersonal communication with peers, leads, and management.
• Handle fragile hardware and small parts during processing.
• Follow written procedures and work instructions.
• Document data on travelers and in the electronic database.
• Perform advanced processing steps for Focal Plane Arrays.
• Execute challenging technical assignments in the work cell.
• Cross train to improve area efficiency.
