Job summary

RTX is seeking a Production Worker S4 (Production Specialist) in Goleta, CA, to operate equipment and build hardware in a strict cleanroom setting. The role requires 2nd shift availability from 2pm to 10:30pm and an onsite presence, with U.S.

citizenship required for access to contract information. Ideal candidates have at least 4 years of production experience in cleanroom environments and proficiency with MS Office.

Qualifications

• MS Office (Excel) proficiency required.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• U.S. Citizenship is required to access information.

Responsibilities

• Participate in Safety-First work environment.
• Work in a class 100 cleanroom wearing a bunny suit under yellow lights.
• Communicate effectively with peers, leads, and management.
• Handle fragile hardware and small parts during processing.
• Follow written procedures and work instructions meticulously.
• Document data on travelers and in the electronic database.
• Perform advanced processing of Focal Plane Arrays to build hardware.
• Complete challenging technical assignments in the work cell.
• Cross-train to improve area efficiency.
