Job summary

Merck in Rahway, NJ is seeking an experienced FP&A - SAC-P Senior Specialist to support planning cycles across the forecasting calendar. You will review data governance, build data models, and ensure accurate, synchronized SAP and SAC-P data across platforms.

You will manage SAC planning workstreams, develop connections, and collaborate with HQ and regional teams to improve processes. The role requires strong analytical skills, English fluency, and deep experience with SAC-P and SAP data

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Mathematics or Computer Applications is required.
• Minimum of 4 years FP&A and SAC planning work streams for large or complex systems.
• Hands-on experience with SAC-P as a planning tool, including designing, supporting, and implementing data models.
• Proficiency in importing and connecting both SAP and non-SAP data sources.
• Experience with Workforce, OPEX, and CAPEX modeling is a strong advantage.

Responsibilities

• Manage SAC planning workstreams, ensuring alignment with objectives, timelines, and business priorities.
• Design, support, and implement SAC data models for planning, analysis, and reporting.
• Develop and maintain import and live connections across SAP and non-SAP systems.
• Leverage SAC to support Workforce, OPEX, and CAPEX modeling with insights.
• Build, enhance, and optimize SAC models, stories, data actions, and allocation logic.
• Apply SAC Analytics technologies including Datasphere, SAP BW, HANA, and ECC.
• Support FP&A planning processes across monthly and quarterly cycles.
• Understand SAP data structures and end-to-end data flows for SAC predictive capabilities.
• Develop and maintain reporting for balance sheets, P&L, trial balances, and tax reports.
• Collaborate with HQ and Regional COE teams to share lessons learned.
