Job summary

Lee County Electric Cooperative is seeking a Supervisor of Financial Planning & Analysis to lead budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning for our utility operations in North Fort Myers, FL. You will guide performance analyses, develop rate design insights, and collaborate with executives on strategic financial decisions.

The role requires 7–10 years in FP&A with supervisory experience and strong Excel/ERP skills.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, business administration, or related quantitative field.
Master's degree in finance, accounting, business administration, economics, or related field (preferred).
7+ to 10 years progressively responsible experience in financial planning and analysis or related finance function.
3+ years of supervisory or team leadership experience.
Experience preparing analyses and reports for executive audiences.
Electric utility finance experience preferred.
CPA/CMA/CFA/FPAC or similar certification preferred.

Responsibilities

Oversee annual operating and capital budgeting processes from assumptions to Board materials.
Coordinate long-range financial planning including revenue, expenses, cash flow, and capital needs.
Review performance, identify risks/opportunities, and suggest recommendations.
Lead wholesale power financial analysis and coordinate with consultants on complex matters.
Develop rate design and cost-of-service analyses and coordinate with stakeholders on rate changes.
Oversee revenue analysis and testing of billed/unbilled revenue and related streams.
Lead debt, liquidity, financing options, and covenant analyses with consultants.
Develop financial models and business cases for investments and initiatives.
Prepare and present financial results, forecasts, and recommendations to management and Board.
Maintain analytical standards, models, controls, and data validation.
Supervise FP&A staff and support their development.
Maintain relationships with employees and stakeholders; assist during storms as needed.
