Job summary

Two Sigma is seeking a FP&A professional to lead financial planning, analyze compute spend, and build data-driven dashboards. You will collaborate with engineering, data science, and finance across real-time analytics and reporting initiatives.

The role emphasizes scalable data models, governance, and AI-enabled tooling to quantify business impacts and drive strategic decisions. Hybrid work model and competitive compensation offered.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of work experience, ideally including exposure to technology or cloud infrastructure spend.
• Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field such as Finance, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, Accounting, Economics, or equivalent experience.
• Familiarity with technology cost structures — proficiency in handling cloud billing and unit economics management with cost recovery, together with datacenter and server cost management.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Collaborative, resourceful, and experienced with project management.
• Experience with AI-powered coding platforms (e.g. Claude Code) and data management practices to build financial dashboards and streamline processes.

Responsibilities

• Manage the annual financial planning process and projections for Engineering and monthly reporting.
• Drive financial analytics for compute spend and related costs.
• Build and maintain financial reports and dashboards using AI-assisted tools, databases, and frontend apps.
• Develop analytics tooling to model business scenarios and outcomes.
• Support the compute expense charge-out framework.
• Refactor and migrate reporting workflows to scalable SQL-based models.
• Coordinate with engineering on data sourcing for reporting and projection analytics.
• Establish data governance to ensure data accuracy and reliability.
