Job summary

Dow Jones is seeking a Manager, FP&A to support growth and performance of its subscription businesses, including The Wall Street Journal and Barron’s. You will partner with Marketing, Product, Data Science, and Circulation to plan, forecast, and optimize subscriber revenue across digital and print channels.

You will develop forward-looking models and provide actionable insights to inform strategic priorities.

Qualifications

6–7 years in Commercial Finance/FP&A for subscription, media, SaaS or recurring revenue.
Strong understanding of subscription economics (ARPU, LTV, churn).
Bachelor’s degree in Finance/Accounting/Economics or related experience.
Advanced Excel; proficient in Google Sheets/Slides.
Experience with SAP and TM1 preferred.

Responsibilities

Partner with Marketing, Product, Data Science, and Circulation to plan budgets and forecasts for subscription revenue.
Build and maintain subscriber-based financial models (drivers: acquisition, promotion, pricing, churn, LTV).
Evaluate CAC, ROI, and marketing investment efficiency; optimize budgets.
Analyze impact of pricing changes, promotions, bundling, and new product initiatives.
Develop scenario analyses to assess risks and opportunities in subscriber growth and ARPU.
Prepare monthly performance reporting with variance analysis for key KPIs.
