Job summary

Dow Jones is seeking a Manager, FP&A for the Consumer Finance team to support growth of subscription businesses across The Wall Street Journal, Barron's, MarketWatch, and IBD. You will partner with Marketing, Product, Data Science, and Circulation to plan, forecast, and optimize revenue throughout the subscriber lifecycle.

You will develop forward-looking models, assess pricing and promotional strategies, and deliver actionable insights to drive profitability.

Qualifications

• 6–7 years in Commercial Finance, FP&A, or related roles in subscription/media/SaaS.
• Strong understanding of subscription economics (ARPU, LTV, churn).
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
• Advanced Excel and Google Sheets/Slides proficiency.
• Experience with SAP and TM1 (preferred).
• Strong analytical skills and ability to translate data into insights.
• Experience building financial models for marketing investment and pricing.

Responsibilities

• Develop budgets and forecasts for subscription revenue across Dow Jones brands.
• Build and maintain subscriber-based financial models (acquisition, pricing, churn, LTV).
• Collaborate to evaluate CAC, ROI and optimize marketing investment.
• Analyze pricing changes, promotions, bundling, and new product initiatives.
• Develop scenario and sensitivity analyses for risks and opportunities.
• Produce monthly performance reporting with key KPIs.
• Support month-end close for subscription revenue and accruals.
• Build business cases for product launches and international expansion.
• Partner with Data Science to align forecasts with subscriber trends.
• Support ad-hoc analyses and strategic projects.
