Job summary

Sony Pictures Television (SPT) is seeking a Manager for FP&A to deliver commercially focused analysis across scripted TV projects. The role sits at the nexus of finance and business affairs, partnering with Production, Content Strategy, and Creative teams.

You will own end-to-end planning for multiple scripted series, including P&L, cash flow, forecasts, and budgeting, while supporting deal negotiations and management with insightful financial storytelling.

Qualifications

• BS/BA in finance/accounting/analytical field.
• Self-motivated and highly curious.
• Strong passion for the entertainment industry.
• Excellent written and verbal communication across departments.
• 5+ years FP&A or business analytics, entertainment/finance preferred.
• Excellent Excel and financial modeling skills.

Responsibilities

• Owns end-to-end FP&A for multiple scripted series (P&L and Cash).
• Proactively identifies financial risks and opportunities to inform forecast and plan.
• Works with Business Affairs and Creative on modeling for deal negotiations.
• Partners with Finance/Accounting, Operations, and Creative to drive value.
• Prepares regular and ad-hoc financial presentations for management.
• Builds and maintains series Ultimate models per IFRS and SOX controls.
