Job summary

Fieldguide, a remote-first SF-based startup, is hiring an FP&A Manager to serve as the analytical engine of planning, reporting, and decision support. You will own core planning cycles, KPI infrastructure, and support scaling toward IPO.

Initially an individual contributor with a clear path to build and lead a team, you will partner with the Head of FP&A and the VP of Finance to deliver accurate monthly closes, forecasts, and investor-ready materials for the board and executive team.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years in FP&A or related high-growth SaaS finance roles.
• Advanced financial modeling and mastery of Excel/Google Sheets.
• Experience with planning tools and basic SQL/BI skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead annual budgeting, quarterly reforecasts, and rolling forecasts.
• Prepare monthly/quarterly packages with variance analysis and narrative.
• Develop board/investor reports with finance leadership.
• Improve SaaS metrics tracking: CAC, payback, gross margin, burn.
• Enhance planning infra with data flows and ERP/CRM integration.
• Partner with leaders on headcount, spend, and monthly reviews.
• Build models for pricing, product investment, fundraising.
