Job summary

Panthera Grid Partners in Houston, TX seeks an FP&A Manager to lead cash flow forecasting, capex analysis, and annual budgeting. You will coordinate with multiple departments to produce integrated management reports and value-focused insights for Brookfield’s oversight.

Responsibilities include maintaining the monthly capital plan, updating financial models, performing sensitivity analyses, and developing KPI dashboards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, Economics or Mathematics.
• Minimum five (5) years of related work experience.
• Demonstrable experience in a modelling role.
• Very strong knowledge of MS Excel, especially in financial modelling.
• Strong knowledge of accounting rules such as US GAAP and experience in SOX compliance would be an asset.
• Experience in renewable energy or distributed generation would be an asset.
• Strong attention to detail; working in a conscientious, consistent, and thorough manner.
• Solid analytical skills, strategic thinking, and decision-making ability.
• Excellent written and oral communications skills.
• Ability to collaborate across departments and with external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Develop and update the monthly Capital plan to monitor near-term and long-term liquidity requirements.
• Coordinate with departments to prepare and update the Capex reports.
• Update the platform consolidated financial models and manage annual valuation and 5 year plan models.
• Liaise and collaborate with a broad range of cross-functional subject matter experts to obtain valuation assumptions, assess impacts and run sensitivity/scenario analyses.
• Manage the annual budgeting process, including coordination with various stakeholders across the organization, the consolidation and analysis of budgets and the preparation of management reports and presentations.
• Manage the monthly forecasting process, including coordination with various stakeholders across the organization, the consolidation and analysis of forecasts and the preparation of management reports and presentations comparing to the budget, prior year and prior forecast.
• Prepare organized presentations targeted at senior management and Brookfield.
• Participate in process improvement initiatives, ensuring process changes are appropriately implemented, documented and communicated, including managing the rollout and optimization of Onestream, Netsuite, and Procore.
• Identify and implement automated and streamlined reporting processes in order to deliver timely report to management.
• Develop dashboard for KPI tracking and reporting.
