Panthera Grid Partners, headquartered in Houston, Texas, seeks a Business Development Analyst to support investment decisions across its renewable portfolio. You will build valuation models, assess project economics, and help structure acquisitions, divestments, and related transactions.

The role requires a finance background and a proactive, detail-oriented mindset. The ideal candidate has 1–3 years of relevant experience in U.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics or quantitative field.
• 1 to 3 years of relevant work experience at a U.S. solar, wind, or energy storage development company, or Independent Power Producer in an M&A or finance role with specific focus on financial modeling and valuation, or similarly transferable experience.
• A motivated self-starter with strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to conduct analytical and financial modeling with high attention to detail.
• Capabilities in Excel and PowerPoint are essential.
• Knowledge of regulatory and compliance issues related to congestion trading.
• Proficiency in financial modeling and risk management.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain unlevered and levered financial models to support internal project pricing, valuation, and investment decisions
• Analyze project economics, key value drivers, and interpret relevant data to inform pricing recommendations and strategic decisions
• Support the evaluation, structuring, and execution of acquisitions, sell-downs, and divestments, including the development and negotiation of transaction documents
• Coordinate and support due diligence processes, including data room management and review of legal, commercial, technical, and financial materials
• Prepare investment approval materials and presentations that clearly communicate pricing recommendations, key findings, risks, and strategic implications to senior management
• Maintain internal systems and processes for tracking project pricing, business development opportunities, transaction milestones, and key deliverables
• Collaborate with teams across development, commercial, finance, legal, and construction, and coordinate with investors, external consultants and other stakeholders
