Job summary

Pratt & Whitney, a world leader in aircraft engines and power systems, has a Manager, FP&A opportunity at the Columbus Forge Blades module center. This onsite role in Columbus, GA, drives financial planning, reporting, and cost management for the CFB unit.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s in accounting/finance and 8+ years of financial experience, with CPA/MBA preferred. You will mentor teammates, ensure internal controls, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize profitability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or related field.
• Advanced degree (MBA/CPA) preferred but not required.
• Progressive accounting/financial experience with change management.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate financial closing and forecasting for the Columbus Forge Blades module center.
• Perform detailed analysis on operating expenses and budgets; monitor variances.
• Lead cost reduction projects focusing on cost of poor quality and product cost.
• Support inventory management improvements and MRB balance reduction.
• Provide financial direction to onsite operations, engineering and support groups.
• Communicate results, forecasts, and risks to senior leadership and local teams.
