Job summary

Pratt & Whitney, a RTX company, seeks a Military Engines Finance Manager to support the F135 Development Program. Based in East Hartford, CT, this onsite role provides financial analysis, contract performance monitoring, and compliance with government requirements.

You will drive cash, sales, and margin deliverables, assess risks and opportunities, and partner with the PMO and FP&A teams to deliver timely results. US citizenship is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance with 8+ years experience.
• Advanced degree in accounting or finance with 5+ years experience.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen - this position may require access to systems/tools restricted to US citizens.

Responsibilities

• Contract Performance - be a Change Agent and a Business Advisor regarding financial performance of Development Contracts – drive monthly, quarterly, and annual deliverables including Sales, Margin, and Cash.
• Risk and Opportunities – understand contract requirements and financial implications, collaborate until opportunities realized or risk mitigation in place.
• Financial controls and compliance – steward resources and ensure ethical, compliant results per contract terms and RTX/ P&W/ ME policy.
• Ad-hoc Requests - timely follow-up and disposition of various USG, FP&A, Internal/External Audit, RTX and other data requests.
• CORE - leverage tools, technology, and process improvements to support F135 PMO and F135 Finance deliverables.
