Job summary

Pratt & Whitney Military Engines Sustainment Operations Finance Team seeks a Principal Specialist, Financial Planning & Analysis Lead at our Oklahoma City campus. The role supports F117/F100 programs, forecasting, cost analysis, and month-end close processes.

The ideal candidate has a strong accounting/finance background, SAP/Excel proficiency, and the ability to work autonomously with limited oversight. Onsite role with 5–10% travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance is required.
• 5+ years of experience in accounting or finance.
• Advanced knowledge of financial analysis techniques and budgeting/forecasting.
• Ability to develop and apply financial models.
• Strong Excel and ERP software skills (SAP preferred).
• Self-directed with ability to meet month-end deadlines.
• U.S. Citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Sustain robust monthly forecast and risk/opportunity processes.
• Assist materials team with analysis to support material shipments/cost alternatives.
• Track overhaul cost and recommend improvements.
• Provide detailed monthly sales and margin variance analysis.
• Assist in the program monthly close, including journal entries.
• Provide operations support for depots and field locations.
• Analyze budgets, forecasts, inventory and sales.
• Assist with MRO accounting process documentation and improvements.
• Support Enterprise Services on monthly billings and Field Service programs.
• Review P&L for accuracy.
• Prepare annual EAC and LDD processes and improvements.
• Develop/maintain collaboration with operations for monthly reviews.
• Finance support for inventory cycle counts.
• Assist in special assignments and ad hoc analysis.
• 5 to 10% travel.
