Lyons Magnus LLC in Fresno, CA seeks a Financial Planning & Analysis – Operations leader to track daily facility performance, optimize production costs, and manage CapEx budgets across the plant footprint.

The role emphasizes labor efficiency, MOH allocation, and variance analysis to drive productivity and budgeting accuracy. A finance/accounting degree with 7+ years of leadership is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting from an accredited university.
• 7+ years’ experience in progressively responsible financial leadership roles, preferably in food and beverage industry.

Responsibilities

• Plant Performance Tracking: Monitor daily and weekly plant metrics, labor efficiency, machine downtime, yield, and production throughput against financial targets.
• Manufacturing Cost Analysis: Analyze COGS, focusing on MOH allocation, maintenance expenses, and utility costs.
• Variance & Efficiency Analysis: Calculate and explain production variances, including labor rate/efficiency variances and overhead absorption gaps.
• Operational Forecasting & Capacity: Help build rolling operational forecasts linking capacity and labor planning to financial outcomes.
• CapEx & Project ROI: Model financial ROI on plant equipment upgrades and facility expansions.
• Assist in analysis and preparation of production related KPIs to build annual budget.
• Gather information from disparate sources, summarize key takeaways in a coherent format.
• Investigate variances between actual, forecasts, and budget to understand risks and opportunities.
• Drive continuous process improvements in reporting, forecasting, and budgeting through automation and data quality improvement.
