Job summary

Lyons Magnus LLC seeks an Engineering Project Manager to lead capital and reliability projects at the Fresno, CA facility. You will drive design, procurement, installation, startup, validation, and handoff, coordinating with operations, maintenance, quality, and IT/OT teams.

The role requires strong project management, practical engineering judgment, and clear communication in a fast-paced food manufacturing setting. Travel is up to 10%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, chemical, electrical, industrial, or manufacturing engineering.
• 3–5 years of progressive engineering and project experience in food/beverage or related process manufacturing.
• Experience with AutoCAD or Autodesk Inventor, Microsoft Project, Excel, PowerPoint, ERP systems and CMMS software.

Responsibilities

• Lead capital and major maintenance projects from concept through closeout.
• Develop scopes, budgets, schedules, risk reviews, and success criteria; manage change control.
• Coordinate packaging, process, electrical, controls, civil, and facility needs.
• Lead technical bid reviews and manage vendors, contractors, and internal teams.
• Support FAT, SAT, commissioning, startup, and handover activities.
• Promote safety, quality, and continuous-improvement across projects.
