Job summary

RTX in Tucson, AZ is seeking a seasoned FP&A professional to partner with program managers to manage forecast, balance sheet, and cash collection with a focus on timely pre-close.

You will oversee SSBU financial activities, investments, long-range planning, and ad hoc analyses, collaborating across Engineering, Supply Chain, Contracts, and Operations. U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain DoD Secret clearance required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 8+ years of experience, or advanced degree with 5+ years.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office tools.
• Experience with SAP (APEX/PRISM).
• Experience with RPlan or other financial forecasting tools.
• Strong presentation and communication skills, ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Manage forecast, balance sheet, cash collection with program business manager.
• Oversee SSBU activities including BSEC (Bookings/Sales/Earnings/Cash) and EOC (Element of Cost).
• Manage investments: Capital, OpEx, Inventory, CFR.
• Lead monthly pre-close and close activities with analysis and reporting.
• Support Long-Range Plan: calendar, cross-functional coordination, risks & opportunities.
• Support ad hoc analyses and data quality improvements.
• Coordinate balance sheet accounts: Unbilled, Billed CIP, Inventory.
