Job summary

Ontic, a rapidly growing aerospace manufacturer, is seeking an FP&A Lead to join the team at the Chatsworth, CA site. You will report to the Head of FP&A and work onsite, partnering with operations and finance to drive performance.

The role requires a 5+ year FP&A track record, advanced Excel and model-building skills, and strong analytical and communication abilities. Manufacturing experience and knowledge of Visual and OneStream are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field.
• 5+ years of FP&A experience.
• Advanced Excel and financial modelling capability.
• Strong analytical, presentation and communication skills.
• Experience preparing budgets, forecasts, variance analysis or management reporting.
• Experience working with financial models, data analysis or performance reporting tools.
• Ability to translate financial information into practical actions with stakeholders.
• Experience in manufacturing or aerospace is desirable.
• Experience with Visual and OneStream is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and analyse financial reporting, budgets, forecasts and performance against targets.
• Analyse sales, cost, margin, cash flow, inventory and KPIs to identify drivers.
• Build and maintain financial models, management reports and analytical tools.
• Partner with operational leaders and Finance colleagues to strengthen performance management.
• Provide detailed variance analysis and recommendations based on actual vs budget/forecast.
• Lead or support special projects and process improvements to reporting and performance.
• Develop and maintain finance tools and data analysis capability across the business.
