Job summary

Ontic, an aerospace manufacturer in Chatsworth, CA, seeks an FP&A Lead to drive financial planning, budgeting, forecasting and performance analysis. You will support operational leaders and finance teams with actionable insights and robust financial models.

The role emphasizes partnering across functions, delivering variance analyses, and leading special projects to improve reporting and financial decision making. Onsite work in Chatsworth is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field.
• Advanced Excel and financial modelling capability.
• Strong analytical, presentation and communication skills.
• 5+ years of relevant FP&A experience.
• Experience preparing budgets, forecasts, variance analysis or management reporting.
• Experience working with financial models, data analysis or performance reporting tools.
• Ability to work effectively with operational and finance stakeholders and translate financial information into practical actions.
• Experience in manufacturing or aerospace is desirable.
• Experience with Visual and OneStream is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and analyse financial reporting, budgets, forecasts and business performance against key targets.
• Analyse sales, cost, margin, cash flow, inventory and operational KPIs to identify drivers and opportunities.
• Build and maintain financial models, management reports and analytical tools.
• Partner with operational leaders and Finance colleagues to strengthen performance management and financial decision making.
• Provide detailed variance analysis and recommendations based on actual performance versus budget and forecast.
• Lead or support special projects and process improvements that improve reporting and operational performance.
• Develop and maintain finance tools and data analysis capability across the supported business.
