Job summary

Simon-Kucher is a global consultancy actively seeking a motivated FP&A intern to join the North American Finance team. This full-time internship supports financial planning, reporting, and business performance analysis across multiple U.S.

locations, with a flexible hybrid work model (office 1-2x per week) and competitive pay of $28/hr. You will gain hands-on experience in preparing financial reports, KPIs, and management presentations while collaborating with finance and business stakeholders

Qualifications

• Pursuing Bachelor's or Master's in finance, accounting, economics, or related field.
• Available to intern full-time for 3-6 months.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and familiar with PowerPoint.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate within a team.
• Unrestricted U.S. work authorization required for U.S. office locations.

Responsibilities

• Support the preparation of recurring financial reports and KPI dashboards.
• Analyze financial and operational data to identify trends and performance drivers.
• Assist in creating presentations for management reporting.
• Perform ad hoc analyses to support business decisions.
• Assist with sales pipeline reporting and revenue forecasting.
• Support project profitability analysis and resource utilization reporting.
• Assist in monitoring project financial performance and identifying variances.
• Help prepare financial analyses for project reviews.
• Prepare data for management meetings and leadership presentations.
• Maintain financial databases and reporting files.
• Collaborate with finance team members on cross-functional projects.
• Support ad hoc requests from finance and business leadership.
