Job summary

Simon-Kucher is seeking a motivated FP&A intern to join the North American Finance team. This full-time role supports financial planning, reporting, and performance analysis across US offices (Atlanta, Boston, Chicago, New York) with 1–2 days in the office.

You will work on business performance analytics, sales and project controlling, and management reporting, gaining hands-on experience with financial data and stakeholder communication.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, Data Analytics, or a related field.
• Ability to intern full-time for 3-6 months.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Familiarity with PowerPoint.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to go into the office 1-2x/week.
• Unrestricted U.S. work authorization is required for U.S. office locations. Simon-Kucher does not offer sponsorship for this position. (Please note CPT and OPT are restricted forms of work authorization.)

Responsibilities

• Support the preparation of recurring financial reports and KPI dashboards.
• Analyze financial and operational data to identify trends and performance drivers.
• Assist in creating presentations for management reporting.
• Perform ad hoc analyses to support business decisions.
• Assist with sales pipeline reporting and revenue forecasting.
• Support project profitability analysis and resource utilization reporting.
• Assist in monitoring project financial performance and identifying variances.
• Help prepare financial analyses for project reviews.
• Prepare data for management meetings and leadership presentations.
• Maintain financial databases and reporting files.
• Collaborate with finance team members on cross-functional projects.
• Support ad hoc requests from finance and business leadership.
