Job summary

Amazon is seeking a highly analytical and resourceful Finance Manager, FP&A to support Amazon's Global Logistics Network. You will drive profitability and customer experience by impacting the development, planning, and execution of our Inbound supply chain network.

You will work with the Inbound Reporting/Planning and Execution team, translating complex financial data into actionable recommendations that influence leadership decisions and optimize the supply chain.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience.
• 6+ years of creating process improvements with automation and analysis experience.
• Bachelor's degree in engineering, statistics or business, or Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of finance or a related analytical field experience.
• 6+ years of identifying incomplete data, root cause analysis and escalation planning.
• 6+ years of delivering forecasting, budgeting, variance analysis, and data interpretation with impact.
• MBA or CPA.
• Knowledge of SQL/ETL.
• Experience with large-scale data mining and reporting tools and other financial systems (Oracle, SAP, Lawson, JD Edwards).
• Experience delivering forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis, and data interpretation of results.

Responsibilities

• Use financial systems and advanced MS Excel functions to work with large data sets; output plans, forecasts, budgets, and consolidations.
• Work with multiple data sources; identify data issues, root causes, and escalate discrepancies; partner to solutions.
• Explain data clearly to varied audiences, adjusting style for audience understanding.
• Identify and implement solutions to resolve, improve, automate, standardize or simplify finance processes.
• Prioritize work, meet deadlines, and seek feedback; differentiate urgent from non-urgent issues.
• Develop in the Finance Community; participate in events and projects and share knowledge.
• Contribute to team harmony and operations excellence as an enthusiastic, collaborative influence.
