Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to build and maintain financial reports, develop robust models, and translate data into actionable recommendations. You will partner with business leaders to drive data-informed decisions and automate workflows across teams.

In this role, you will collaborate with FP&A, Operations, Product and Controllership to deliver regular financial reporting, drive leadership commentary, and deep-dive trends that propel the business forward.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, economics, or related analytical field or 5+ years in finance/analytics.
• 3+ years of tax, finance or related analytical field experience.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain financial reports and models; audit accuracy and root-cause analysis.
• Analyze data with Excel/SQL to extract insights and guide leadership decisions.
• Identify improvements and automation to strengthen controls and scalability.
• Collaborate with Operations, Product and Finance to address challenges and share findings.
• Lead projects with limited oversight and maintain SOPs and knowledge sharing.
