Job summary

ClearJet is seeking its first Director of FP&A to own planning, forecasting, and performance management. You will build and own an investor-grade three-statement model, connect customer economics to pricing, and drive actions with operating leaders across Air Ops, Ground Ops, Customer Ops, and Sales.

In this hands-on role, you’ll partner with the VP of Finance and executives, build reporting processes, and lead an FP&A team as the company scales.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in FP&A, investment banking, corporate development, or strategic finance.
• Expert Excel modeling and integrated three-statement models from scratch.
• Direct experience owning budgeting, forecasting, and budget vs. actual reporting.
• Strong unit-economics experience tying pricing to costs.
• Experience preparing board materials and investor or lender reporting.
• Ability to partner with operational leaders and hold departments accountable.

Responsibilities

• Own the financial model and forecast; maintain and evolve the three-statement model.
• Drive unit economics analyses for customers, lanes, and per-package profitability.
• Support pricing discipline with margin analysis for deals and amendments.
• Build KPI and performance framework; run monthly business reviews with Ops and GTM leaders.
• Deliver budget vs. actual reporting with variance explanations.
• Prepare board and investor materials; support fundraising and covenant tracking.
• Model cash and working capital; forecast liquidity and borrowing base needs.
• Evaluate new operations and capital decisions; build business cases for lanes and capacity.
• Scale FP&A by improving data flows between forecast model, CRM, and BI tools.
