Job summary

Trafilea is seeking an experienced FP&A Director to own our global Financial Planning & Analysis function end-to-end, shaping planning, forecasting, performance management, and investor communications.

You will partner with the executive team, Board, and investors, build scalable financial infrastructure, establish company-wide KPIs, drive profitability, and lead a high-performing FP&A group across a fast-growing, remote organization.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of Finance/FP&A experience, including 3–5+ years at Director level or equivalent.
• 6+ years of Retail experience, with e-commerce exposure preferred.
• 3+ years leading Capital Markets and fundraising initiatives.
• Proven experience building and developing Finance teams.
• Strong command of FP&A, forecasting, modeling, and business analysis.
• Executive-level communication to senior leaders, Boards, and investors.
• Experience in fast-growing environments; startup experience valued.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or Economics; MBA or Master’s in Finance preferred.

• Lead investor relations strategy, cadence, materials, and messaging.
• Own Capital Markets and fundraising workstreams, from modeling to investor Q&A.
• Build and improve company-wide KPIs, reporting structures, and budgeting processes.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Commercial, Planning, Operations, and Accounting to improve profitability.
• Build, coach, and develop a high-performing FP&A team with clear ownership.
• Provide leadership with accurate, timely, decision-ready financial information.

Job Responsibilities

We’re looking for an FP&A Director to own our global Financial Planning & Analysis function end-to-end and become a strategic partner to our executive team, Board, and investors.

You’ll build the financial infrastructure behind better decisions—from planning and forecasting to performance management, investor relations, and capital markets—while developing a high‑performing FP&A team.

What You’ll Do

• Own annual business planning, monthly forecasting, performance management, and variance analysis end-to-end.

• Turn financial and business data into forward-looking insights and recommendations for the executive team and Board.

• Lead our investor relations program, including strategy, cadence, financial materials, and messaging.

• Own key Capital Markets and fundraising workstreams, from financial modeling and data preparation to investor Q&A.

• Build and continuously improve company-wide KPIs, reporting structures, and budgeting processes.

• Partner with Marketing, Commercial, Planning, Operations, and Accounting to improve profitability, P&L performance, and Cash Flow.

• Build, coach, and develop a high-performing FP&A team with clear ownership and accountability.

• Ensure leadership has accurate, timely, decision-ready financial information to allocate resources and prioritize investments.

• 10+ years of progressive Finance/FP&A experience, including 3–5+ years at Director level or equivalent.

• 6+ years of Retail experience, with e-commerce experience strongly preferred.

• 3+ years of experience leading or directly contributing to Capital Markets and fundraising initiatives.

• Proven experience managing and developing Finance teams, including Manager-level direct reports.

• Strong command of financial planning, forecasting, financial modeling, performance management, and business analysis.

• Executive-level communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial insights clearly to senior leaders, Boards, and investors.

• Experience operating in fast-growing, high-change environments; start-up experience is highly valued.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or Economics; MBA or Master’s in Finance strongly preferred.
