Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field and 7+ years in data science, finance analytics, or related roles.
• Proficiency in Python and SQL.
• Experience with statistical analysis, predictive modeling, and time-series forecasting.
• Understanding of budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and financial performance management.
• Ability to work with large datasets from multiple systems.
• Experience building dashboards with Power BI, Tableau, or Looker.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to translate technical findings into business and financial recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Develop predictive models for revenue, expenses, cash flow, profitability, and other financial metrics.
• Build driver-based forecasting and scenario-planning models for budgets and forecasts.
• Analyze historical performance and external factors to identify trends and risks.
• Improve forecast accuracy with statistical methods, ML, and time-series modeling.
• Conduct variance analysis to explain differences between actuals and plans.
• Create dashboards and automated reports for finance and operations.
• Integrate data from ERP, CRM, and FP&A systems for analysis.
• Present findings to finance leaders and executives and document methodologies.
