Job summary

EY is seeking an FP&A Data & Analytics Assistant Director in the United States to transform financial and operational insights. You will partner with Finance, data teams, and leadership to develop data-driven analytics and AI-enabled solutions that drive performance and business value.

This role leads modern FP&A data capabilities using Microsoft Fabric, Azure Databricks, and AI platforms, shaping analytics strategy, scalable data solutions, and timely decision support for enterprise planning

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Information Systems, Computer Science, Data Science or related field or relevant experience.
• 5–7+ years of experience in data engineering, analytics, BI or related disciplines.
• Experience partnering with business stakeholders to define requirements and deliver analytics solutions.
• Experience leading or supporting enterprise data, analytics and reporting initiatives.
• Strong proficiency in data modeling, ETL processes and SQL.
• Hands-on experience with Azure Databricks and/or Microsoft Fabric.
• Knowledge of data ingestion, transformation, orchestration, integration, modeling, testing, monitoring and production support.
• Experience managing data projects and coordinating delivery across technical and business teams.
• Ability to analyze complex data sets and develop insights for strategic decisions.
• Demonstrated leadership, mentoring or coordinating team delivery.
• Strong communication with both technical and non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Finance and business stakeholders to understand challenges and develop data-driven solutions.
• Design and deliver analytics solutions that provide actionable insights and measurable business value.
• Serve as SME for products, platforms, or capabilities for business and technical teams.
• Lead stakeholder discussions to define priorities and align delivery with objectives.
• Oversee data pipelines for extraction, transformation, and integration from multiple sources.
• Collaborate with data architects and engineering teams to build scalable data architectures.
• Optimize data platforms to improve performance, reliability, and cost efficiency.
• Present recommendations, roadmaps and insights to leaders and stakeholders.
• Coordinate with offshore resources to support delivery and knowledge sharing.
• Promote analytics, AI and modern data practices across the organization.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend enhancements.
