First Community Credit Union in Houston, TX is seeking a Financial Analyst to support financial planning and analysis, cost management, budgeting, forecasting, liquidity management, ALM and investment strategy. You will prepare analyses combining accounting data with management input.

The role involves cost studies for member products and profitability analysis across products, branches, and channels, with emphasis on driving automation and reporting improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, economics, or a related field.
• Three to five years of experience in FP&A, cost or managerial accounting, treasury/ALM, or public accounting.
• Financial institution experience is preferred but not required

Responsibilities

• Assist with FP&A, budgeting and forecasting, liquidity, ALM, and investment strategy.
• Perform cost studies and analyze profitability by product, branch and channel.
• Prepare liquidity monitoring reports and drive automation; conduct ratio, trend and peer analyses.
