Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or 4+ years relevant/equivalent experience in lieu of degree.
• Experience: 7 years relevant/equivalent experience, plus must be bondable.
• Preferred: Power BI and/or SQL.
• Knowledge, Skills, Abilities: Effective communication, detailed loan/product analysis, proficient with complex spreadsheets, accuracy and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Research factors affecting loan yields and provide what-if analyses on products; generate reports from internal data warehouses and external sources.
• Evaluate profit and cost efficiencies across credit union areas using spreadsheets; collaborate with external vendors on activity-based costing models.
• Regularly review investments portfolio to meet policy targets; prepare Asset/Liability models with external vendors to maintain guidelines.
• Research other credit unions to report industry trends, growth opportunities and earnings potential.
• Review and assist 5300 reporting as needed.
• Other duties as assigned by the VP of Finance.
