Job summary

First Community Credit Union is seeking a Financial Analyst to assist with financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, liquidity management, ALM and investment strategy. The role includes cost studies, profitability analyses, and peer comparisons to drive automation and insights.

The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, economics, or a related field and 3–5 years of FP&A or related experience; financial institution experience is preferred but not required, with

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of FP&A, cost or managerial accounting, treasury/ALM, or public accounting.
• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, economics, or a related field.
• Financial institution experience preferred but not required.
• Certifications (CPA, CMA, CFA, FRM, MBA) or advanced degrees valued but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with financial planning and analysis and cost, including budgeting, forecasting, liquidity, ALM, and investment strategy.
• Prepare analyses combining accounting information with management input.
• Conduct cost studies and analyze product, branch, and channel profitability and member impacts.
• Build and maintain budget models; produce liquidity monitoring reports; conduct profitability analysis and trend/peer comparisons.
