Job summary

Mission Staffing seeks an Associate Director of FP&A in New York City to lead planning, budgeting, and reporting for a multi-billion dollar hedge fund. You will partner with investment teams and senior leaders to translate data into actionable insights and drive strategic decisions.

The role requires 7-12 years in FP&A within financial services, with 4x weekly NYC on-site work. Up to $250K base and $350K total compensation; CFA/CPA a plus.

Qualifications

• 7-12 years of FP&A experience.
• Financial services experience required (fintech or banking is okay).
• CFA or CPA credentials are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist in building a best-in-class FP&A and reporting function by developing, standardising, and driving continuous improvement of all financial tools and planning processes.
• Develop deep understanding of the underlying operations and drivers of firmwide expenses and performance.
• Deliver financial insight and recommendations to our executive leadership for strategic and operational planning decisions.
• Assist in spearheading the annual firmwide budgeting process, serving as a key partner to senior management and business leadership.
• Collaborate with the team regarding system enhancements, and maintenance of Adaptive Insights/Workday, the firm’s budgeting & forecasting tool
• Support Management Accounting team in the rebuilding / enhancing of month-end processes
• Contribute to the consolidation and analysis of management reporting results, monthly forecasts, and quarterly updates for senior leadership.
• Collaborate internally with other cross-functional partners to strategise, troubleshoot issues, and support any needs they may have.

Associate Director, FP&A with a Thriving Multi-Billion Dollar / Multi-Strategy Hedge Fund in New York City!

ROLE OVERVIEW

This individual will play a key role in providing high-quality FP&A partnership to the firm’s investment teams and business leaders. Reporting to the Global Head of FP&A, this individual will develop a deep understanding of the operational drivers of expenses and performance across the firm, translating financial and operational data into actionable insights. The role is highly collaborative and will help strengthen the firm’s planning, forecasting, reporting, and budgeting capabilities while delivering clear recommendations that support strategic decision-making by senior leadership.

Seeking:

7-12 Years of FP&A Experience

Financial Services Experience Required (Fintech or Banking is Okay)
