Job summary

Jobot is seeking an FP&A Associate for a Data Center in Austin, TX. The role focuses on financial planning, analysis, and investor reporting to guide strategic decisions in a fast-paced construction environment.

With 5+ years in FP&A and a Bachelor’s degree in Finance or related field, you will develop models, analyze variances and forecasts, and collaborate across departments for data-driven insights. This on-site role offers relocation assistance where applicable.

• 5+ years of FP&A and financial analysis experience, preferably in the construction industry.
• Experience with investor reporting and financial modeling.
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial information clearly.
• Proficiency in financial software and databases.
• CFA/CPA or other relevant certification would be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain financial models to support strategic initiatives and decision-making processes.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual investor reports, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and consistency.
• Conduct regular financial analysis, including variance analysis, trend analysis, and forecasting.
• Collaborate with various departments to gather data for financial modeling and analysis.
• Provide insights and recommendations based on financial analysis to senior management and stakeholders.
• Participate in budgeting and forecasting processes, including the development of annual budgets and quarterly forecasts.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.
• Participate in special projects and perform ad hoc financial analysis as required.

5. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial information in a clear and concise manner.
6. Proficiency in financial software and databases.
7. Strong knowledge of financial regulations and accounting principles.
8. Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
9. Exceptional problem-solving skills with a proactive attitude towards identifying and resolving issues.
10. CFA/CPA or other relevant professional certification would be an advantage.
