Job summary

Kratos Defense & Security Solutions, Inc. is hiring a Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) Analyst in Orlando, FL to deliver financial insights, forecasting, and analytical support to drive strategic decisions.

You will partner with the VP of Finance and cross-functional leaders to monitor performance and support budgeting. The role requires a BA/BS in Finance or related field and 5–7 years FP&A or corporate finance experience, with strong Excel and financial modeling skills; government

Qualifications

• 5–7+ years in FP&A, corporate finance, or related role.
• Experience with government contracting and rate pools is a plus.
• Strong financial modeling and analytical skills.
• Advanced Excel skills and experience with financial reporting.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain financial models, forecasts, and annual budgets.
• Analyze monthly financial results and variances against budget and prior periods.
• Prepare and deliver financial reports, dashboards, and presentations for leadership.
• Support long-range planning and strategic initiatives.
• Partner with business units to provide financial guidance and improve performance.
• Identify trends, risks, and opportunities through data analysis.
• Assist with month-end close activities and financial reporting processes.
• Improve and streamline financial processes, tools, and reporting capabilities.
