Job summary

Kratos Defense in Orlando offers a hybrid FP&A Analyst role within the Finance team. You will develop forecasts, budgets, and financial models, and deliver dashboards and leadership presentations.

You will partner with the VP of Finance and Operations and cross-functional leaders to monitor performance, identify opportunities for growth, and support long-range planning. Strong Excel, Power BI, and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
• 5–7+ years FP&A or related experience; government contracting a plus.
• Strong financial modeling and analytical skills.
• Advanced Excel; experience with ERP and BI tools.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.

The FP&A Analyst supports the Finance team by providing financial insights, forecasting, and analytical support to drive strategic decision-making. This role partners closely with the VP of Finance and Operations and cross-functional leaders to monitor performance, develop budgets, and identify opportunities for growth and efficiency.

Required Experience:

• Bacheloris degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
• 5-7+ years of experience in FP&A, corporate finance, or related role (experience with government contracting and rate pools is a plus)
• Strong financial modeling and analytical skills
• Advanced proficiency in Excel; experience with financial systems (e.g., ERP, BI tools) preferred
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience supporting senior leadership or executive teams
• Expereince supporting government contracts
• Familiarity with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
• Experience with tools such as Power BI, Cost Point/Deltek
