Wealthfront is seeking an FP&A Analyst to join our Finance team in Palo Alto. You will support monthly close, forecasting, budgeting, and financial reporting, turning data into actionable insights.

You’ll partner with Accounting to ensure accuracy, analyze variances, and maintain financial models while helping scale finance processes as Wealthfront grows. Strong analytical skills and a foundation in finance are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
• 2–4 years of FP&A, accounting, or similar finance experience.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial statements.
• Experience with financial modeling, including three-statement models (preferred).
• Experience with Netsuite, Google Workspace and SQL (a plus).

Responsibilities

• Support the monthly close by preparing reports and tracking deliverables.
• Analyze the income statement, balance sheet and cash flow to identify drivers.
• Prepare detailed variance analyses with commentary.
• Collaborate with Accounting to ensure complete and accurate financials.
• Partner with teams to gather assumptions for budgets and forecasts.
• Improve recurring reports and automate processes where possible.
• Support semiannual budgeting and monthly rolling forecasts.
• Maintain and improve financial models used for planning.
• Analyze business trends and explain changes in performance.
• Prepare recurring analyses to inform planning and decision making.
• Assist in producing monthly, quarterly, and annual leadership presentations.
• Conduct ad-hoc analyses to answer business questions and inform decisions.
• Help scale finance processes as the company grows.
