Job summary

Modera Wealth Management is seeking a Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) Analyst to support strategic decisions across the organization. You will gather and analyze data, build and maintain financial models, and develop business cases to optimize growth and efficiency.

The ideal candidate has 2–5 years in corporate finance or financial analysis, strong Excel, and experience with Salesforce or NetSuite. This is a full-time, on-site role across several East Coast locations offering growth

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or related field.
• 2-5 years in corporate finance, accounting, business analysis, or financial analysis experience (wealth management or financial services industry preferred).
• Experience supporting budgeting, forecasting, and using data to support business or financial analysis.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency and familiarity with CRM/ERP tools.
• Strong communication skills to translate complex financial data into executive summaries.

Responsibilities

• Gather, validate, and synthesize financial and operational data from multiple sources including Salesforce.
• Build and maintain robust financial models to support forecasting, scenario analysis, investments, and long-range planning.
• Model fee revenues based on market performance, net inflows/outflows, and fee tier schedules.
• Contribute to the annual budget, track operating expenses, and run variance analyses.
• Analyze profit margins tied to advisory teams, client segments, or office locations.
• Track and report on KPIs like CAC, revenue per advisor, and organic growth for reviews.
• Conduct ad-hoc scenario planning for expansions, M&A, or new wealth service lines.
