Job summary

The Simplot Company, headquartered in Boise, Idaho, is seeking a Financial Analyst for FP&A to support global planning, forecasting, reporting, and performance analysis. You will translate financial data into insights to guide management decisions and partner with Finance and business teams across the organization.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years of progressive FP&A experience, strong Excel skills, and experience with financial systems.

Qualifications

3–5 years of FP&A, corporate finance, accounting, or related analytical finance role.
Strong understanding of financial statements, management reporting, forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis.
Ability to translate financial results into clear insights for finance and non-finance stakeholders.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with large data sets.
Advanced Excel and experience building/maintaining financial models and tools.

Responsibilities

Serve as liaison between Finance and business partners to understand activities, performance, and drivers.
Coordinate and support global forecasting and annual budgeting processes, including submissions and variance analysis.
Support month-end close and management reporting with validated financial information and timely reporting.
Perform detailed variance and trend analysis across actuals, forecast, budget, and prior periods.
Develop and maintain financial models and analytical tools to support forecasting and decision-making.
Prepare recurring and ad hoc analyses for Finance leadership and business partners.
