Job summary

U.S. Bank seeks a Financial Analyst to support the Digital Product group within Consumer & Business Banking. The role centers on financial planning and analysis, budgeting, forecasting, expense management, reporting, and capital expenditure oversight for digital initiatives.

You will partner with leaders, developers, project managers, and other business partners, perform variance analysis, build dashboards, and present results to senior leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
• Typically six or more years of related experience.
• Experience with forecasting, planning, budgeting and variance analysis.
• Strong Excel skills; experience with financial systems and large datasets.
• Experience with Essbase or Hyperion preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support business-line P&L activities with focus on expense management, budgeting, forecasting, reporting and variance analysis.
• Provide financial analysis for expense allocation, business cases and capital expenditures.
• Develop and maintain spreadsheets, dashboards, reports and management presentations.
• Identify trends and risks and translate findings into actionable recommendations.
• Partner with leaders and present results to senior leadership.
• Use financial systems to improve reporting, forecasting and efficiency.
