Job summary

Morgan Stanley is seeking a Financial Planning & Analysis professional to support U.S. Banks in forecasts, budgets, and stress testing.

You will work with Balance Sheet, P&L, and capital metrics, delivering insights to CFO and senior leadership from New York, NY. You will analyze data across units, build management reports, and help automate processes while collaborating with FP&A, Controllers, Treasury, and Risk Management teams.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of experience in Financial Planning & Analysis or related finance role in financial services.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Statistics, Data Analytics, or related field.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills with high attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; TM1 experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support the preparation and analysis of financial forecasts, budgets, and long-term plans for the U.S. Banks (Balance Sheet, P&L, RWA, capital ratios, capital allocation).
• Support end-to-end Balance Sheet and PPNR processes for CCAR/Annual/Quarterly Stress Test and Resolution Planning, including modeling and governance.
• Utilize multiple data sources to create management reporting including Balance Sheet, Revenue & Expense analysis, and Key Risk Indicators.
• Perform financial analysis to support decision-making and prepare materials for CFO, Senior Management, Boards, and Regulators.
• Contribute to process improvement and automation initiatives to enhance efficiency and data integrity.
• Collaborate with Business Units, Corporate and Segment FP&A, Controllers, Treasury, and Risk Management.
