Job summary

Mohegan Pennsylvania is seeking an FP&A analyst to develop monthly operating reports focused on trend and variance analyses. You will support the budgeting process, create ad hoc financial models, and provide insights on opportunities and profitability across casino operations.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in a related field, at least one year of analytical experience in a high-volume casino environment, and proficiency in Excel and BI tools such as Cognos Analytics and Workday.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Economics, Accounting, Finance, Business Management or related field.
• At least one year of analytical experience in a high-volume casino environment.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Develop monthly reports with emphasis on operating trends and variance analyses.
• Assist FP&A Manager with the development of the operating budget.
• Monthly reporting on all aspects of the operation including Slot Report, Table Games Report and the Report on Operations.
• Observe and monitor operating results to determine business trends.
• Perform ad hoc analyses based on operational trends, economic trends, or competitive developments.
• Assist in evaluating potential business opportunities and strategic initiatives.
• Perform post analysis of Arena shows and other events to assess profitability.
• Perform labor analysis with key volume indicators to optimize staffing and profitability.
