Job summary

Dania Entertainment Center, LLC is seeking a Financial Analyst to support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis for the organization’s gaming and hospitality operations. The role emphasizes building financial models, dashboards, and insightful analyses to guide leadership decisions.

Ideal candidates bring 3+ years in FP&A or finance within gaming or hospitality, strong Excel and data visualization skills, and experience with Oracle ERP.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Three (3) or more years of experience in financial analysis, FP&A, accounting, or a related finance function.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including financial modeling and analysis; proficiency with data visualization and reporting tools is strongly preferred.
• Strong analytical, critical-thinking, and problem-solving skills with a high degree of attention to detail and accuracy.
• Oracle ERP experience preferred. Experience creating or modifying data cubes and financial reporting structures is a plus.
• Must apply for and obtain the appropriate State of Florida occupational gaming license, which includes applicable criminal background screening requirements.
• Must successfully complete drug testing in accordance with the Company's Drug-Free Workplace Policy and applicable background checks.

Responsibilities

• Analyze financial and operational data, trends, and KPIs to identify opportunities, risks, and areas requiring management attention.
• Support annual budgeting and periodic forecasting processes, including preparation and maintenance of financial models, departmental assumptions, projections, and budget-to-actual tracking.
• Prepare monthly and periodic variance analyses comparing actual results to budget, forecast, and prior periods; investigate significant variances and communicate findings to Finance leadership and department leaders.
• Develop, maintain, and continuously improve dashboards, management reports, and financial and operational KPIs.
• Identify opportunities to automate, streamline, and improve recurring financial reporting and analytical processes.
• Perform cost-benefit analyses, scenario modeling, sensitivity analyses, and other financial evaluations in support of business initiatives.
• Partner with department leaders and cross-functional teams to understand operational drivers and provide actionable financial insights that support informed decision-making.
• Prepare ad hoc financial analyses and support special projects as requested by Finance and executive leadership.
• Support annual financial audits by preparing requested schedules, supporting documentation, reconciliations, analyses, and other Prepared by Client (PBC) materials. Experience supporting external audits, including Big Four audits, is preferred.
• Ensure the accuracy, completeness, integrity, and confidentiality of financial data, models, reports, and supporting documentation.
• Serve as a Finance subject matter expert and key technical user for the Company's ERP and financial reporting systems. Oracle ERP experience is preferred; experience creating or modifying data cubes and financial reporting structures is a plus.
• Support continuous improvement of financial processes, reporting methodologies, systems, and internal controls.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
