Fourth & Fifth Grade Math Teacher (Full-Time)

Location: Saint Raphael School

Position Type: Full-Time

Position Overview: Saint Raphael School is seeking a dedicated and qualified full-time teacher to provide mathematics instruction for fourth and fifth grade students. The ideal candidate will foster a positive, faith-centered learning environment while meeting academic standards set by the Diocese of Cleveland and the State of Ohio.

Required Qualifications

• Valid State of Ohio teaching licensure
• Virtus Certification
• Current BCII and FBI background checks
• Must have, or be actively enrolled in, a cohort for Religion Certification through the Diocese of Cleveland

Key Responsibilities

• Assume direct responsibility for students throughout the school day, from arrival through dismissal
• Teach fourth and fifth grade mathematics curriculum in alignment with Diocese of Cleveland and State of Ohio standards
• Fulfill assigned supervision duties
• Maintain daily schedule: arrival no later than 8:20 AM and dismissal no earlier than 4:00 PM
• Moderate at least one student club (Math Team and Morning Math Help)
• Participate in Professional Learning Communities, staff meetings, and professional development (before, during, or after school)
• Assist in OCSAA planning and implementation
• Carry out additional responsibilities as assigned by the principal

  • Open Houses

  • Christmas and Spring programs
  • Sacramental preparations and ceremonies (as applicable)
