Job summary

Thunder Valley Casino Resort is seeking a Spa Manager to oversee the daily operations of the Spa, including the Pool and Fitness Center, ensuring Four Diamond service standards for hotel guests.

You will lead a high-performance Spa team, develop and implement marketing and business plans, and maintain the spa menu of services. This role requires strong leadership, financial acumen, and a passion for guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Three (3) years of spa management experience.
• One (1) year of spa retail purchasing and merchandising.
• Analytical skills with the ability to synthesize complex or diverse information.
• Ability to develop realistic action plans and prioritize work activities accordingly.
• Must understand how to create and interpret a business plan.
• Ability to communicate effectively with Guests, Team Members, and Management in both written and verbal form.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Practice, support, and promote Thunder Valley Casino Resort’s service mission and demonstrate Four Diamond service standards.
• Collaborate with senior leadership to implement plans that maintain AAA Four Diamond standards.
• Manage day-to-day Spa operations in line with budget objectives.
• Design, build, and maintain Spa’s menu of services and products, including Guest specials and packages.
• Lead and mentor the Spa management team and recruit top talent.
• Delegate tasks, set expectations, and monitor activities.
• Provide regular performance feedback and develop team members’ skills.
• Monitor inventory levels to ensure cost-effective operations.
• Create store displays to maximize sales and ensure supply meets demand.
• Analyze financial statements to keep COS in line with profitability targets.
• Review pricing and promotions to optimize merchandising.
