Job summary

OhioGuidestone is seeking an Assistant Director to provide comprehensive leadership of department operations across Bryan, Defiance, and Napoleon sites. The role includes budget development, program planning, and ensuring compliance with regulations.

You will support clinical consultation, mentor staff, and maintain direct service as needed. The position requires a Master’s in Social Service or related field and supervisor designation (LISW/LPCC/LIMFT), with 3+ years managing teams in nonprofit

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in social services or related field required.
• LISW/LPCC/LIMFT with supervisor designation required.
• Experience in nonprofit, medical, mental health or social work fields with diverse staff.
• 3+ years of managing direct reports and sound judgement.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive oversight and leadership of department operations across multiple sites.
• Oversee budget development, monitoring, documentation, and billing compliance.
• Develop program plans, goals, and outcome measures aligned with strategic initiatives.
• Ensure service delivery meets internal, contractual, regulatory, and accreditation standards.
• Support clinical consultation and crisis management when needed.
• Lead, coach, and mentor direct reports and uphold performance standards.
• Maintain a small caseload of direct service as needed.
• Promote a positive, team-based culture and community belonging.
