Job summary

Steak n Shake in Waukee, IA is seeking a fountain operator to prepare fountain beverages to order with speed and accuracy, using the multi-mixer, CRT, ice cream spade, and correct dippers. You will monitor temperatures, restock, and keep the fountain area clean and in line with safety and uniform standards.

The role requires basic reading and math, a team player attitude, ability to stay composed under stress, and the capacity to plan and organize tasks.

Job description

General Purpose:

The fountain operator is expected to perform a variety of duties in the preparation of associated fountain products.

Essential (primary) Functions:

The primary responsibility of the fountain operator is to prepare all fountain products to order within 5-8 minutes in accordance with Steak n Shake specs utilizing the multi-mixer, CRT, ice cream spade, and correct dippers. Monitoring equipment temperatures. Restocking, cleaning/sanitizing the fountain area while maintaining security, safety, uniform and company standards at all times.

Any and all other tasks assigned
