Job summary

Eaton's ES GEIS CHD division in Syracuse, IN is seeking a Foundry Utility Worker on the 2nd shift (2:30pm–11:00pm). The role supports iron and non-ferrous foundry operations, grinding, and material handling.

The position pays $20.55 per hour plus a $1.50 shift differential, with full benefits and opportunities for growth. Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED and at least three months of manufacturing experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 months manufacturing experience.
• No relocation benefit; local candidates within 50 miles only.

Responsibilities

• Perform duties in Iron and Non-Ferrous Foundry areas and grinding room operations.
• Operate band saws, dumping and shakeout molds, and fork trucks as needed.
• Assist molder in machine setup and clean work areas; operate shot blast equipment; repair pouring ladles.
• Operate automatic floor sweeper and perform minor maintenance tasks.
• Detect and report defective materials and refer to supervision as required.
• Maintain clean and orderly foundry area and follow safety regulations.
