Job summary

Eaton's ES GEIS CHD division in Syracuse, NY is seeking a Screw Machine Operator on 2nd shift (2:30 pm–11:00 pm, Mon–Fri). You will direct and train a group performing machining operations, ensure workflow efficiency, quality and safety, and perform minor machine adjustments to support production.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of machining experience.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Able to read blueprints and use measuring tools.
• Comply with safety procedures and TPM activities.

Responsibilities

• Direct and lead a group performing machining operations.
• Perform threading, grooving, turning, drilling on conventional machines.
• Inspect first pieces and verify setup before release.
• Load castings and bar stock; maintain continuous operation.
• Maintain clean, safe work area and report issues.
